Whatcom County and the Point Roberts Community Advisory Committee (PRCAC) are hosting the first of two public presentations on the county’s ongoing Point Roberts Drainage Study. This first presentation will provide an overview of the project need and scope, study methodology, and Phase 1 findings, including recommended projects and associated estimated costs. It will also discuss project funding sources, provide a look-ahead of Phase 2 tasks, and include a Q&A session.
The presentation begins at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 19, at the Point Roberts Community Center. In-person attendees are encouraged to arrive early (starting at 6:30 p.m.) to view visual aids of the preliminary study findings not included in the presentation and to meet the project team. You may also attend the meeting online via Zoom.
The recorded presentation will be available online in the coming weeks. To stay updated on the project, visit its dedicated webpage and sign up for the county’s “Notify Me” email & text alerts.
