The Eviction Resolution Pilot Program (ERPP) ended by state statute as of July 1, 2023, and Whatcom County Superior Court rescinded its Standing Administrative Order regarding the ERPP. Landlords are no longer required to provide tenants with an ERPP Notice and no longer required to give tenants the option to participate in the ERPP before the landlord can file an unlawful detainer (eviction) case in Court for nonpayment for rent.
As of 8 am on October 1, 2021, the Whatcom County Eviction Resolution Pilot Program, delivered through the Whatcom Dispute Resolution Center is operational as described in Governor Inslee's June 29, 2021, Proclamation 21-09
