Note: If there is only 1 candidate for a position by the close of business after filing & the withdrawal deadline, that person is considered elected, and there will be no election.
Tuesday January 2, 2024 – last day to withdraw from filing
Requirements
You must be a registered voter in Washington State and own land within the District for which you are filing.
If you are the owner of a business that owns land in the District, you must provide a signed letter on business letterhead stating that you are an owner of the business and therefore are able to file for office.

Complete a Declaration of Candidacy form and return it to our office.
