Federal law protects everyone’s right to participate and be heard. As a recipient of Federal Aid, Whatcom County Public Works must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act and related laws, regulations, and other requirements, including addressing environmental justice (EJ) with minority and low-income populations and improving access to people with limited English proficiency (LEP).
