The Whatcom County Disposal of Toxics facility will be closed from Wednesday, March 20, 2024 through Friday, March 29, 2024 for scheduled building maintenance. The facility will offer no services during this time. Operations will start again Monday, April 1, 2024.
Remember: Regular landfills are not designed to hold hazardous waste. Chemicals thrown in your household trash can pollute the soil and water. Please dispose of your hazardous waste at the Disposal of Toxics facility before Wednesday, March 20, or hold on to it until the facility reopens Monday, April 1.
