Agricultural Advisory Committee

Purpose

The Agricultural Advisory Committee (AAC) provides review and recommendations to the Whatcom County Council on issues that affect agriculture. The AAC also provides a forum for farmers and others interested in enhancing and promoting the long-term viability of Whatcom County agriculture.

Meetings

The Agricultural Advisory Committee will meet next on 
November 13, 2024 from 2pm to 4pm.

Meetings are held monthly October through May, typically on the second Wednesday from 2pm to 4pm at Planning and Development Services, 5280 Northwest Drive, Bellingham.

Specifications

This committee shall meet at least four times per year. At every meeting, the committee will schedule an open session to take public comment on agricultural issues. The committee shall elect a chairperson from among its members who shall preside at its meetings.
