Fill out Burn Permit Application and email to [email protected]. Fees will be invoiced once the permit has been processed. 

Fireworks

Please complete the appropriate application as indicated below and email all materials to [email protected]. 

Fireworks Stand

To obtain a permit to operate a fireworks stand in unincorporated Whatcom County you need to submit a completed Fire System Construction Application along with the following:

• Washington State Fireworks License
• Insurance certificate
• A site plan showing the location of the stand in relation to other buildings and parking on the property

Professional Fireworks Display

To conduct a professional fireworks display in unincorporated Whatcom County, submit a completed Fire System Construction Application along with the following:

• Washington State Fireworks License
• Insurance certificate
• A site plan showing the location of the launch area in relation to other buildings, viewing areas, and parking on the property

Fire System Construction Permit

The Fire Marshal’s Office issues several different construction permits for fire related systems. To apply for a Fire System Construction Permit you need to fill out the application form and submit all required documentation for review to [email protected]. Fees will be invoiced once the permit has been processed.
