The N. Lake Samish Bridge Replacement Project is making significant progress and has recently entered the demolition phase. The existing N. Lake Samish Bridge is being dismantled and removed from the area. The latest pictures of this work are on the project website.
As we proceed with the demolition phase, please note that watercraft traffic under the bridge remains closed. The safety measures, including the turbidity curtains and warning buoys, are still in place and crucial for everyone's safety. We kindly request that you continue avoiding the area until these measures are lifted.
Please anticipate these impacts on marine traffic through mid-October. As the project continues, updates to access will be posted on the project website.
