Summary

The project goal is to reduce roadway flooding on Holeman Avenue by replacing undersized pipe and installing new catch basins and re-establish the existing ditch to match pipe invert elevations. This area is particularly sensitive due to the steep bluff along the shoreline and the concern is that flooding could lead to bluff failure and property damage.

Project Benefits

  • improved safety
  • replace failing system

Storm drain on Holeman Avenue is undersized causing west side of the roadway to experience flooding. Approximately 335 Lineal feet of 12-inch diameter pipe and associated catch basins will be replaced or upsized, and about 160 lineal feet of ditch will be reestablished or modified.
