Small Area Paving

Project Update 

The 2024 contract is being finalized, with plans going out to bid in late August or early September.

Our small area paving contract for 2024 includes sections of the following roadways:

W. Badger Rd – Jackman Rd to SR-539 Guide Meridian

E. Badger Rd/Telegraph Rd N – intersection

Marine Dr – Slide area east of Hoff Rd

Kickerville Rd – Brown Rd intersection and 2 areas north of the intersection

Trapline Rd – Timon Rd to Hampton Rd, Hampton Rd intersection (both north and south sides)

Kwina Rd – east of Hillaire Rd

It includes grinding and paving of bridge decks and bridge approaches at the following locations:

Turkington Rd – Bridge No. 130 approaches, west of SR-9

Turkington Rd – Bridge No. 131 approaches, west of SR-9

Marine Dr – Bridge No. 5 approaches and bridge deck, east of Lummi Shore Rd

Ferndale Rd – Bridge No.7 approaches, north of Marine Dr

Hillaire Rd – Bridge No. 8 approaches, south of North Red River Rd

Haxton Rd – Bridge No. 11 approaches, south of North Red River Rd

Slater Rd – Bridge No. 513 approaches, west of North Red River Rd

It includes railroad crossings at the following locations:

Trapline Rd – Railroad crossing north of Hampton Rd

Slater Rd – Railroad crossing west of Ferndale City Limits

Lonseth Rd – Railroad crossing west of Kickerville RD

Henry Rd – Railroad crossing west of Kickerville Rd

Turkington Rd – Railroad crossing west of SR-9

Maleng Rd – Railroad crossing east of SR-9
