Significant progress has been made on the N. Lake Samish Bridge Replacement Project with the recent drilling of shafts for the new bridge. This milestone allows us to reopen the area to watercraft traffic.
As of Tuesday, October 22, the turbidity curtains and warning buoys have been removed, and crossing between the basins has been restored. However, if you see active construction work, please wait for the ‘go ahead’ from staff to proceed under the site. Anticipate intermittent delays of up to five minutes.
